Constant use of regular toxic cosmetics is certainly going to increase the level of toxic substances in your skin and body. Just imagine that every time you rub in a lotion or cream on your face, or for that matter, any other part of your body, you introduce harsh chemicals like these Parabens to your skin. The most dangerous thing is that we are in the early stages of scientific data to prove how much toxic substances can enter our body through regular use of these cosmetics. This intelligence is not unlike the Tobacco Industry. People knew little about what was in tobacco and what harm it could cause. This is the primary reason why one should never take the risk and opt for safer cosmetics like organic and/or natural, non-toxic cosmetics.

In modern society the aim and purpose of using such products seem primarily to consist of making our appearance more attractive to the opposite sex. In ancient times however, people sought to make themselves more appealing to beneficial Gods and spirits, or attempted to ward off nasty demons.
